CV Checklist Before You Download and Send

A final review checklist for contact details, work experience, dates, spelling, layout, and download format.
Before downloading your CV, take five minutes to check the details. This small step can prevent missed calls, confusion, or rejection due to simple mistakes.
Check your name, phone number, email address, country, nationality, visa status, and job title. Make sure the contact number includes the correct country code if needed.
Check each work experience. Employer name, job title, date employed from and to, and responsibilities should be clear and in the correct order.
Check spelling of company names, certificates, schools, and technical terms. Use simple language if you are unsure about complicated words.
Check that your skills match your target role. A logistics CV should not only show hospitality skills, and a hospitality CV should not only show warehouse tasks.
Check the live preview on mobile and desktop if possible. Make sure the text is readable and sections do not look too crowded.
Download PDF for sending to employers and Word when an agency asks for an editable copy. Keep both files in a safe folder.
If you are using download-only mode, download your file before closing the browser because your CV is not saved online.
