How to List Languages on a CV for GCC Jobs

A simple way to show English, Arabic, Filipino, Hindi, Urdu, and other language levels.

Languages are important in the GCC because many workplaces serve customers, families, suppliers, and teams from different countries.

List languages in a dedicated section. Write the language name and your level, such as basic, conversational, good, fluent, or native.

Example: English - Good, Filipino - Native, Arabic - Basic. This is clearer than writing speaks many languages.

Be honest about your level. If you write fluent, be ready for the interview to test your speaking or understanding.

Hospitality, customer service, sales, domestic work, driving, security, and receptionist roles often benefit from strong language details.

If the job requires Arabic and you only know basic Arabic, write Basic Arabic and mention workplace phrases if true.

Do not hide language ability. Even basic communication can help employers understand where you fit best.

BuildMyCVNow includes a language field so you can add this important GCC detail quickly.
