Simple professional summary formulas for fresh graduates, helpers, technicians, and entry-level applicants.

A professional summary is a short paragraph near the top of your CV. It tells the employer who you are, what role you want, and what strengths you bring.

Use this simple formula: target job plus experience or training plus strongest skills. Keep it between two and four lines.

Fresh graduate example: Motivated business graduate seeking an entry-level office assistant role, with strong computer skills, filing experience, and willingness to learn.

Helper example: Reliable general helper with experience supporting cleaning, loading, organizing materials, and assisting supervisors with daily tasks.

Technician example: Practical AC technician with experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe use of tools and equipment.

Hospitality example: Friendly hospitality worker with customer service experience, good communication, and ability to keep work areas clean and organized.

Avoid saying hardworking only. Many applicants say that. Add the type of work you can do and the skills that match the job.

Update your summary for each job category. A finance summary should sound different from a domestic worker summary because the employer is checking different strengths.
